The B1 level represents a significant milestone in your German learning journey. At this level, you transition from basic to independent language use. This course prepares you to deal with most situations you might encounter while traveling or living in a German-speaking country. B1 is often the minimum requirement for residence permits and basic workplace communication in Germany.

Hören (Listening): Understand main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters encountered in work, school, and leisure contexts. Lesen (Reading): Understand texts with everyday and job-related language, including descriptions of events and feelings in personal letters. Sprechen (Speaking): Handle most travel situations, enter conversations on familiar topics, describe experiences, dreams, and ambitions, and give reasons for opinions. Schreiben (Writing): Write connected text on familiar topics and personal letters describing experiences and impressions.

Examinations

At Nia Sprachenakademie, we offer two types of examinations to validate your German language proficiency:

Nia Internal Exams: Conducted at the end of each course level to assess your progress and readiness to advance. These exams follow CEFR standards and provide immediate feedback on your language skills.

Evo Language Exams (International): Internationally recognized certification exams conducted by Evo Language Schools. These certificates are widely accepted for visa applications, university admissions, and professional recognition (Anerkennung) in Germany.
